Landing at Kharsali, the small and charming village that serves as the base for the Yamunotri sector, you will proceed toward Yamunotri Temple, the seat of Goddess Yamuna and the divine source of one of India’s most sacred rivers. The path to the temple can be made by foot, or with the assistance of a pony or palki, depending on your preference and physical ease, both of which are available for your convenience. Helicopter flight to Sersi | Shuttle helicopter to Kedarnath

Your helicopter from Harsil lands at Sersi, from where a dedicated shuttle flight carries you up to the Kedarnath Helipad, just minutes from the temple. Kedarnath, one of the twelve Jyotirlingas of Lord Shiva, stands at over three thousand six hundred metres, surrounded on three sides by snow-covered peaks and held in a landscape of such austere grandeur that arriving here, however comfortable the means, feels like a genuine act of pilgrimage. After breakfast at your hotel, the final helicopter flight of the journey carries you back across the landscape that has held you for five extraordinary days, the peaks, the valleys, the rivers and the temples growing smaller below you as the altitude increases, before the green foothills and the broad plains of Uttarakhand open up around Dehradun once more.
