Itinerary

Day 1 Arrival & Lake Manyara National Park

Arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport, where you will be warmly welcomed by your private safari driver-guide. Transfer to Lake Manyara Serena Safari Lodge (approx. 185 km). After lunch, enjoy an afternoon game drive exploring the park’s diverse ecosystems, home to tree-climbing lions, elephants, hippos, and vibrant birdlife. Dinner and overnight at Lake Manyara Serena Safari Lodge.

Day 2 Lake Manyara to Serengeti

Early breakfast followed by scenic drive to Serengeti National Park (approx. 225 km). Game viewing en route to Serengeti Serena Safari Lodge. After lunch, afternoon safari across the legendary Serengeti plains, renowned for the Great Migration (seasonal) and abundant predators. Dinner and overnight at Serengeti Serena Safari Lodge.

Day 3 Serengeti Full-Day Exploration

After breakfast, journey toward the world-famous Serengeti National Park. En route, visit a traditional Maasai Village, where you will gain insight into Maasai customs, warrior traditions, and village life. This cultural interaction adds an authentic dimension to your safari experience. Continue into Serengeti with game viewing along the way. Arrive at Serengeti Serena Safari Lodge for lunch. In the late afternoon (approx. 16:00 hrs), depart for an evening game drive in Central Serengeti. The vast savannah plains are home to:  Lions resting under acacia trees  Cheetahs scanning for prey  Leopards in riverine forests  Wildebeest and zebra herds (seasonal migration dependent) Return to lodge for dinner under the African sky

Day 4 Serengeti to Ngorongoro Crater

Morning departure for Ngorongoro Conservation Area (approx. 228 km). Descend into the Ngorongoro Crater for a spectacular safari within this UNESCO-listed caldera, often referred to as Africa’s Eden. Spot dense populations of wildlife including black rhino. Ascend and transfer to Ngorongoro Serena Safari Lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 5 Ngorongoro to Arusha

After breakfast, drive toward Arusha. En route visit Cultural Heritage Village for local crafts and cultural immersion. Check in at Arusha Serena Hotel. Afternoon at leisure to relax amidst lush gardens.

After breakfast, enjoy a guided hike to Materuni Waterfall near Mount Kilimanjaro followed by an authentic coffee-making experience with local community hosts. Later, transfer to Kilimanjaro International Airport for your onward departure.
